REAGAN ERA REJECTS "DESTROYER" EP - MUTANT SOUNDS RECORDS MS-07 (2024)
Mutant Sounds Records is proud announce the release of the Reagan Era Rejects "Stormtrooper" EP! Reagan Era Rejects are a hardcore/punk band from Houston, Texas. The six songs on this EP are the bands most recent material since is a follow up to their self titled "No Democracy" full length album released in 2021.
This EP features four tracks from their recording session from April 2023 with Stephen Finley at @digitalwarehaus_studios. Four tracks of hardcore/punk rock that are complemented by dark-brooding lyrics and powerful vocals of Alex Seay. RER has a solid lineup of veteran Houston punk musicians to back the beat with features Julio Bonilla (drums), Mike Simmons (bass), George "Bubba" Dennis (guitar) and Gilbert Lira (guitar). The six new tracks are seething with dark lyrical content and aggressive hardcore punk.
I've known Gilbert since I was in 9th grade or so. He may have been the first one to introduce me to the Dayglo Abortions classic album "Feed us a Fetus". He's a solid human being and a forever homie. Many thanks to him for reaching out to do the collaboration! Many thanks to the whole band to be so patient with the pressing process and my snails pace at completing the artwork and design. 🙂
